Born and raised in Okinawa, Jade is a material marvel of Asia with ancient to present day power.

When I came to Mexico four years ago, I had the pleasure of discovering Jade has a prominent presence in Latin America as well.

Fascinatingly, Asian Jade has its structural differences from Latin Jade—though both were revered and utilized by ancient peoples for similar purposes of praise and adornment.

This ecological bridge is part of what makes jewelry-making such an informative and beautifully interconnected process.
